Questions
How long does a Legion Go repair take?
Most screen, keyboard, battery, hinge and charging port repairs take one to three working days once the part is here. We order the exact part for your machine type. Motherboard repairs take longer.
Will I lose my files?
Not from a normal repair: we don’t wipe the storage. If Windows needs reinstalling, or the board is badly damaged, we copy your files off first. Data recovery is available if the storage has failed.
Where do I find the machine type?
The machine type is the first four characters of the model number on the label underneath the laptop, for example 21HD in 21HD003GUK. Lenovo Vantage and the BIOS screen show it too.
Is my Legion Go too old to repair?
No. Lenovo lists it as withdrawn once it’s no longer sold, but we still repair it. For older models we source new and used parts, and repair boards at component level.
